Agave photo

I wanted to try and recreate my first frame but this time backwards. I went to Janna’s so we could create the backwards frame. Instead on putting wood planks on the front we attached the shorter pieces on the back. We also used smaller pieces of wood so it is not as big as the first one.

We used spacers between the wood to give the frame a lighter feel. We nailed and glued the wood planks to the back to give it support. The wooden planks in the back allow for a flat surface for the photo.

I stained the wood and used decorative brass tacks. Using plexiglass over the photo instead of glass allows a smaller glare and makes the photo the star of the show. I chose my agave photo with purple lantana from the Arizona Botanical Gardens. I think the dark stain and the brightness of the picture go well together.
